Son of a Man
A son needs a father
I said, my son needs his father
Not just to feed and provide for him
But to lead, protect, and be a guide for him
Show him how to be a man in the color of his skin
Give him rules to all the principles that abides within
Show him who you are but better in the light of his eyes
Dropping gems of infinite knowledge to be taught is what he relies
Giving examples of a man is what he will keep inside
Fearing no one but himself and not to go beneath his pride
Raising elements in his mind of his natural progression
Teaching what you've learned so he can conquer with a greater succession
Giving passionate ideas to defeat so that he can grow
Making obstacles obsolete so that he will learn to know
Just a matter of time before he understands your ways
And unleash what he redeemed to be confidently displayed
Learning how to judge a character and things to avoid
Being outstanding in his education to provide the tools that employ
It's an accurate decision when he makes the choice he does
He is taught with ingenuity to empower what he loves
