Somewhere In Between

Wandering aimlessly passing signs from time
Strolling down a woodland path
Looking for inspiration, to finish my rhyme
Childhood memories making me laugh

The park we go to isn't the same anymore
Born no more than a few blocks down the street
Elements etched to my very core
Somewhere in the middle is where we will meet

My woodland path is close to home
Never straying far from this place
The only paths I've ever known
No more do I find my Grama's face

Missing you Grama everyday 1925-2008

Inspired by a fellow poet named Constance La France and her contest A Woodland Path
