Somewhere

In my darkest hour I know you are there,
When all hope is gone from my life,
I know you will always care.
   Though not here physically,
I can still feel you beside me.
A gentle touch, a summer breeze,
The feel of your spirit reaching out to me.
A gentle mist kissing my face,
Sending back those memories of another time and place.
Oh how I long to be with you, no matter what I don’t care,
To walk again with you in a time and place that we shared.
