Sometimes

Sometimes  our thoughts get lost between our minds and our words
Sometimes whispers are so loud, and our shouts are not heard.
Sometimes dreams disappear between our voice and their ears. 
Sometimes courage gets twisted between our doubts and our fears. 

Sometimes we fall short between our soul and our flesh
Sometimes we fly high even when we’re oppressed 
Sometimes spirits get broken between love and hate  
Somehow destinies get changed between choices and fate.
Sometimes decisions get conflicted between desire and lust
Sometimes facts get distorted between deceit and mistrust

Sometimes glory stands tall between valor and strength
Sometimes humility hides between modesty and contempt 
Sometimes there’s no silver lining between the clouds and the sky
Sometimes we have no vision when we open our eyes 
Sometimes we get trapped between light and dark
Sometimes were so close and yet were still miles apart

Sometimes hearts get shattered between the truth and a lie
Sometimes emotions get suppressed between a smile and a cry.
Sometimes decisions get conflicted between right and wrong
Sometimes peace is found between chaos and calm

Sometimes lives get ensnared between the present and past
Sometimes true emotions get entangled between a sigh and a laugh
Sometimes honesty lies beneath facades and the masks.
Sometimes everything can change within a  blink of an eye
Sometimes we feel we can’t go on, no matter how hard we try

Sometimes there are no grey clouds that come before the storms
Sometimes we rejoice when inside we mourn
Sometimes we find comfort between solace and pain
Sometimes the sun shines brightest when it’s pouring down rain
Sometimes there are no right answer between questions and concerns
Sometimes there are no mistakes, only trials and lesson learned.
