Sometimes
Sometimes you make me feel like I'm in trouble
trying to make my appearance a double
Sometimes I envisage making myself accepted
as a preparation towards being rejected
Sometimes I wonder if to be loved
is to also be hated and shoved
Sometimes I ponder the depth of the most sincere
affection
to be the height of the most deceptive passion
Sometimes I discern the desire for friendliness
as a portent from the most severe loneliness
Sometimes I disagree that a duo should agree to walk;
now I agree but they will often disagree in talk
Amidst these hearts war, a selfish man's gratitude
is fear of unity and folly of solitude
It is more honorable for a duo to yoke and bond as one
For their pros and cons, if resolved, will make their love
done
