Sometimes

Sometimes I just lay down in complete awe
If only I told someone what I knew or what I saw
Maybe that will somehow make things get better
and even try to shine as bright as this weather.

Sometimes I feel as if life is just a game
Maybe I am the one who is really insane
The second hand ticks as these days pass me by
and the more that I think, the more that I cry.

Sometimes I wish life was something that i could bare
But in the end I'm left standing here tugging at my hair
Maybe this scene is just one crazy bad dream
and I'm praying to God this isn't as bad as it seems.

Sometimes I just beg for it to all end
I flash a smile, but it's all just pretend
Maybe if there is way I can turn back time
and fix this big mess to take back what is mine.
