Sometimes

Sometimes I just need a little more strength
Weather in the big things or the small things
I just never seem to be able to last the length 
And all of the consequences that that brings

Sometimes I just need a little more desire
When doing the things that we always do
Everything always seeming to be so dire
And then nothing really ever comes true

Sometimes I just need a little more insight
With all the things that I was never taught 
Everything always seems to be such a fight
Never finding what I had originally sought 

So many sometimes they all run together 
A book where you already know the ending
I just look for a little break in the whether 
Then, maybe my heart could start mending
