Sometimes

Sometimes......
Sometimes,
You wish,
Sometimes you imagine,
And,
Sometimes you wonder
Sometimes you wish
Two birds in the bush
Are,
Worth more than one
In the hand....
Sometimes,
You wish, wishes
Were horses
So,
Beggars can ride

Sometimes,
You wonder why
The grass always appears greener
On the other side
Sometimes,
You wonder why
Some have so much
While,
Others hunger, die
For want of wisdom

Sometimes,
You imagine you could
Eat your cake
And,
Still have it

Sometimes,
You wonder why
All fingers are not equal
Why,
Some seas are tantalizingly blue and transparent
While others are,
Black, romantic and dangerous as night

Sometimes,
You wish,
You could turn back
The hands of the clock
And sometimes,
You wish,
You could fast forward it

Sometimes,
You wonder why,
Some places experience
Endless sunshine
Others,
Scorching winter

Sometimes,
You wish you could
Make a mountain
Out of a mole hole

Sometimes,
You wish you could
Bite your nose
To spite your face

Sometimes,
You wish nightfall
Never comes
And sometimes,
You dread
Cock crow at dawn

Sometimes,
Sometimes you wish,
Sometimes you imagine,
And,
Sometimes, you wonder and wonder and wonder........
