Sometimes

Sometimes, I put my arms out and reach for the sky. I try not to lie down but I always end up breaking and cry. I wish for better for my friends and their life. I strive to be better than before. Yes, you know this time I will achieve greatness. I'm going to face this And reach the top. I'm never gonna stop. I won't drop. I am going to rock! Cut the competition with a grated fist. Occasionally, I want to hang by a tree. Jump in to the sea, swim away and be free. But I can't so for now I'll stay on land In the sand And do what i can to be grand. I'll make the most with what is put in front of me. I'll hit number one. Just wait and see. Now and then, I dream big. Constantly. Again and again. I dream dreams I hope to achieve but in the end I realize, with my position In life, I'd have to make changes for when The time comes. Then, I'll be able to be one of the best. You see, You're not like me. I won't stop until I've reached my dream. I won't cheat my way. I'll start from the streets. Keep rising until I'm the one you call "Beast". I'll go so my soul can be free. Use it in this music. Give people something so they can lose it. You best know I'm going to do it. I won't come in last and you know I won't be least. Sometimes, I put my arms out and reach for the sky. I'll keep reaching 'til I reach what's mine. I'll run right up until I cross the finish line. Continue this dream until I'm old and dyin'. Frequently, I don't stop chasing my dreams until they get tired of running from me
