Sometime Soon

Every morning when I awake from my sleep
I make myself a promise that I can't keep
I vow to pack up and leave this all behind
To go looking, searching for a better find
I believe in struggle, adversity, and sorrow
But I am tired of wishing for a better tomorrow
Sometime soon I'll leave this cruel place
And no longer feel like I am a disgrace
I try to be perfect and to be a good wife
But obviously I have caused only strife
Sometime soon might just be too late
For the chance of finding my soul mate
