Sometime

The world seems so big, belonging to so many!

It will not ever swing open for me again,

And will not protect me with my restless soul

and will not smile at me.

Dreams are lost, the will to fight is lost,

the ship of «Hope» is thrown onto the land.

Our son is missing from this world.

I shall not argue longer with Destiny,

but I shall deceive her and shall send my soul

to fly to a forest, where air is pure

and tall trees are affable,

where silence flies from the heavens.

Near the river is a village.

There are the small, old log huts in it,

The bridge over a pond.

In gardens, the apples and

the cherries redden there.

We shall come here with you

sometime, in the new life after this one.

A log hut with a small garden

on the edge of that village

Will await us patiently.

And the son, alive, will meet us in that paradise

And will smile at us happily.
