Something You Should Know
this is a story of a girl
who makes me feel
like the real deal
i look at her
she looks at me
but yet we miss
are eyes never meet
we will never know how sweet
only if you knew
through thick and thin
even if i was hanging by a limb
i always would say
every waking day
i love you
and will always be true
but it seems for now
that i fail to show
what you should know
because i am so shy
and you make me feel like i can fly
