Something True

7/28/22

Way off in dream land
Excuse me, if I seem sad
As well as happen to be mad
Still, got it done with my free hand
Despite there being little if any peace had

Problems minimized or growing fast
In person or going off a photograph
Most quick to let go with no holding back
Regardless of if they know the half

Give me a ton of room
As I live free under sun and moon
They think that I'm just a goon
Always they judge much too soon
Fast to call me dumb and rude
Yet you wonder why others come unglued
In the future will there be much water and abundant food?

Time I deliver crushing news
This is something true
You'll just be another one to lose
If you never ing move
Regardless of having on running shoes
Instead of cutting loose
Ready to handle what ensues
Never once had trust in fools
Often relied on clutching tools
Learning just about nothing in schools

Despite all the cues
Would you see a bigger picture with any clues
Do what you choose
Ya'll so easily amused
Following the same old ruse

Like me and booze
For awhile I was confused
Continuing to snooze
Until I started to muse
Then took a cruise
Barefoot or with shoes
Eventually it started to fuse
After paying my dues

Reactive over most stuff
People quick to disclose much
Know what
For the longest time I always gave no s
I had to grow up
Instead of doing donuts
Close and far from a snow hut
Risking it all, relying on my own luck
Often could've led to death from a misstep the throat cut

Yo cuz
Close and far from a rose bud
Never hit a home run
Died beside a blood soaked gun
In a pool of his own blood
Over a feud that was so dumb
After living a life where he wanted it, but got no love
