Something To Think About In the Cold

Where do those people go?
Whom some ignore, taunt, and abhor
Just because they live out doors
When they die, do they find a home?
When they freeze, clutching the only quarter that they own,
do they find a home then?
The Child, the veteran, the mother, the father, the heart or the soul
Where do they all go?
Do they go to where they left their dreams before they were labeled
less then human?

It is a good question. Everybody needs a home and it is our destiny to find our Home someday. Question is, what keeps us away from home? Fear, anger, sense of failure, acohol and drug indused minds to forget the pain, the anxiety, a sickness? very thought provoking write and a sad reality of our society, it is not a result of capitalism though, in my view. Thanks for sharing your thoughts which I find very thoughtful. Caroline.
