Something Inside
Deep inside there is a fire,
Consuming me with a desire,
Am trying hard to be modest,
But shouldn't I be honest
'Bout the excitement inside ?.
Like deep waters I’ve been still,
Waiting for that one ripple.
The gloomy nights have been a nil,
Not knowing joy could be so simple.
Deep inside the emotions bubble.
Very patiently my mind is waiting,
But earnestly my body is yearning.
Something tells me not to fight
For this is my true plight.
Just throw caution into the night.
Like a wildly ranging river,
Torrents of emotions threaten,
My modesty to conquer.
As I seek not to quiver,
In the pleasure I retire.
