Something In the Way

I know I am the middle age of gray And on this day I will forget to pray For light is only bright until it fades There is a tale of darkness in the way I love the sun that sets upon the day And sincere souls I meet along the way Yet I have dealt with sin of many trades To bargain with the painful price to pay It seems to me the birds will never say I can not fly the firmament and play Tempted by morbid mortal minds of maids I find myself in dwellings to decay For Sue knows me and she will always say Inside myself there is a price to pay So Sue inside committed life that fades There is a tale of darkness in the way
