Something In the Way
I know I am the middle age of gray
And on this day I will forget to pray
For light is only bright until it fades
There is a tale of darkness in the way
I love the sun that sets upon the day
And sincere souls I meet along the way
Yet I have dealt with sin of many trades
To bargain with the painful price to pay
It seems to me the birds will never say
I can not fly the firmament and play
Tempted by morbid mortal minds of maids
I find myself in dwellings to decay
For Sue knows me and she will always say
Inside myself there is a price to pay
So Sue inside committed life that fades
There is a tale of darkness in the way
