Something About Medusa

Something About Medusa by Kenny Davis   I don't know how to explain it I've caught feelings for Medusa She's shown and taught me many things Experiences I am not used to   She can turn me to stone Then I can always be there when she needs me Then when she is ready for me to love her in return Maybe then and only then she'll be compelled to release me   I can get lost in her eyes If it meant being trapped in her gaze Blessed to have her as my lasting vision To bask in her beauty for the rest of my days   My desire, my love for her To be forever encased in this stone like prison I would love nothing more, if she is to be my future More than a woman I could ever dream of, or furthermore, ever envision   If I am to hold such a love for her inside Deep in my catatonic, stone like state Means of a future to hold her close and true in my arms Then, encased in stone, am I forever willing to wait   If this is to be my position in her life My soul forever forced into a deep sleep Then may I be blessed to have on last vision of her Forever, to hold her, in my dreams   Though the power of this woman may be the cause Of this vessel of mine being hardened May she always have a special place for me Close to her heart, in her secret garden.   Held deep inside, I'll always know Why this beauty chose to take these old bones And chose to take my love for her and encase them in stone Because I'll always be where she needs me, by her side, to never be left alone   © December 2014 k.davis
