Something

Something like a quiet place is something like the melody of being in your arms
Something like a simple breeze is something like your laughter in my ears..
Bending low to help a child to get something out of reach
Finding a favorite toy lost and giving to a tear-filled child..
That is something like finding a special love like yours..

Nothing to fear in my words so just lay back and let the freedom wash over you.
You don't have to be anything but you..
And you are something worth more than anything a man can give.
You can be soft as compassion
You can be warm as patience…
Deeper than a passion and more aggressive than a cream-filled desire…
I can see something in you
That makes me stop to wonder why time fades in your eyes…
And when I wake it’s like I’m still a young man and you’ve got a young vibrant woman’s
hold on me

Something like a soft mellow jazz playing in my mind
A melody I couldn’t forget.
But something in you, played it over again begging me softly to listen
I must have some of that something about you..

Something like an innocent temptation
Like a stolen pleasure
Started with a priceless tender kiss…
Something like a spell
Something not one word could ever tell
But something I felt as soon as I heard you say my name..
It wraps a tender embrace around me and whispers some of the most precious things
Like a room with no walls and a cloud in the sky..
Nothing but unlimited highs
Heart ties
Seasons pass and fly
Then I knew something like I would never forget..
Is you..
