All I ever needed was someone
All I ever needed was you
All I ever wanted, you gave
Told me your love was true

You told me you’d keep me safe
You told me you’d keep me from harm
But all I ever wanted 
And all I ever needed
Was someone to keep me warm

You are all I ever needed
All I ever needed was someone like you
Nights when the hours were filled with pain
You always got me through

You’re the one who kept me safe
