Someone Stronger

Someone Stronger There is a chilling factor that comes When your true love becomes a lie And all the broken promises revealed Make you just want to die. The hopes and dreams you reached for Are now lying dead and dying in the dust All the love that would live forever? Gone with the one that held your trust. How do you survive this blow? And its harsh unrelenting pain It sinks in and destroys your soul And hard not to cry or complain Yes this has happened to me The pain just too much to bear The worst thing I can remember Was loneliness and no one there The devastation of losing love Is by far the worst I’ve known I don’t care to live anymore With the pain and hurt I own. Time I am sure will heal me But it moves oh, so slow I don’t think I can hold out I am simply crushed by this blow. If I am not here tomorrow Please don’t feel alarm I have gone to ease the pain To a place where there is no harm. Remember me in your prayers For I am no longer I was not up to all the pain It needed someone stronger. Connie Moore 11/11/13
