Someone Special

I’m someone you know, but haven’t met
One that you love but haven’t held yet

I’m someone you take care of, but don’t realize it
One that you talk to whenever you sit

I’m someone that’ll be with you for a very long time
One that will know how to make your sun shine

I’m someone that will fill you with hopes and dreams
One that will show you what a new life means

I’m someone that’ll depend on you to show me the way
One that is now with you every day

I’m someone that will fill your heart with pride
One that will be right at your side

I’m someone that you will teach right from wrong
One that is growing healthy and strong

I’m someone that’ll bring you many years of joy
One that is soon to be your baby girl or boy
