Someone Else
Will you do something for me?
Just a moment of your time is all I’m asking
Imagine yourself becoming someone you long to be
And I return yourself to you... where have you been?
I’ve been wondering if i can accept myself now
Living and breathing a life to love and hate
Less our lives be so conditioned and bound
Are we not healthy bodies with a corrupted mind at stake?
I’m always longing to be free... but free from what exactly?
What more can our limitless mind offer?
How rich or poor do we have to be with our personality?
Before we realise that we... don’t differ
Nevermore do I imagine of becoming someone else
Because that someone will be helping and destroying the same
I can only imagine myself flying since... whence I fell
Falling every time to a different scenario in the same game
Have you that someone you imagine yourself to be?
And who did you want to be other than yourself?
Will you care to imagine what it’s like to be me?
Have you the long endless spiral you unknowingly fell?
