Someone

We all have something
Festering deep inside
A secret weare sworn to protect
A weakness we must hide
We all have something
That cannot be resolved with time
Be it a broken heart and soul
Or an unforgivable crime
We all have something
Deep in the back of our mind
Sins left unforgiven
Forgotten in the daily grind
We all have something
A wound that's cut so deep
Bleeding broken promises
Depriving us of sleep
But we all have Someone
Who will be there until the end
Whether you know Him or not
He is your only friend
We all have Someone
Who died for us on the cross
Despite our many problems
Lack of faith is the greatest loss
