Someone

Looking at the people around me
Holding hands, laughing merrily
Wondering until when will I wait
For someone to come and change my fate.

When will I fall into someone’s arms?
Where he will keep me safe from harm
When can I receive gifts and flowers,
Or even hear an “I love you” every hour?

When will destiny give me a chance?
To let someone hold my hand
When can I receive hugs and kisses?
When will someone grant my wishes?

When will someone sing me a song?
Until when will I dream that I belong,
To someone worthy of my love and my world?
Someone who is proud to call me his girl.
