Someday Will You Come Back

If you can point me out in a crowd
An I can feel you near
How come we aren't together?
You look at me sweetly
You smile is so kind
Your words are very gentle
An you still have most gorgeous eyes....
An your still not mine. 
We argue here an there
An yet my whole self wish you were near. 
I sometimes think I see you everywhere, 
At times I hear your voice....
I want to know why,
For I think I'm going crazy,
The past is the past
But its hard not to look back...
You were the man I prayed for
But you walked away,
Someday will you come back to me?

Charlie Smith April 9, 2016 at 10:46 PM There needs to be a reason to come back. Maybe he needs to see what he's missing instead of hopping he'll figure it out. Good write Amanda, but sometimes wanting hurts a lot more than working for it...Go get him.
