Someday

Someday When again your world comes crashing down I will weep without a sound When you are locked away a huge part of me is right there with you How many more times will it take to get that the easy way to success Is almost always the wrong way and cannot be kept Exactly what does success mean for you If it is merely monetary as it seems Your world will continue to crash How many times can a mother’s heart crash and not break Angelo’s mom

With each mistake hopefully a valuable lesson will be learned. Unfortunately we can't protect our children from theirselves.

Oh Richard, there is nothing in this world that makes my heart ACHE more, then my first born Son losing years of his youth and continuing on the same path over and over. Thank your for your words of hope and wisdom, as the silent tears continue to flow, jill

Painful write. Expresses the frustration of not being able to get through. One of my quotes is, If you measure life in terms of money you will always be short changed. Sound value systems take away the veils of success. Kind regards, Ian

Heartachingly sad but powerful voice in this poem, Jill. "How many times can a mother’s heart crash and not break" for the child of her womb? PS. Sorry it's only now that I am able to visit. hugs!
