Someday

Someday I will stand alone
On one side of the battlefield
And the world will stand at the other
But I will never yield

Someday I must face the world
At the line of reality
And the world will seek to drag me down
But I will never return to normality

Someday I will fight for my side
With every figment I’ve ever had
And the world will mock my army
But I will beat them bad

Someday I must give these up
These people in my head
If the world takes them away
I might as well be dead

Someday I will stand alone
On one side of the battlefield
And the world will stand, and we will fight
My army and I will never yield
