Some Thoughts To Ponder

In life I’ve done things on my own,
Confident that i was up to the test.
To later regret bad seed I’d sown,
That I’d thought were from my best.
Oft in my mind i was settled,
That what i was doing was sure.
Sound advice usually left me nettled,
And alone i sought for my cure.
Today, i call back in thought,
The time when i reach my point of desperation.
When i asked God to change me from what i was,
To who i am now.
