Some Strange Girl

Some Strange Girl across the Room
I guess she caught your eye
Some Strange Girl. it's odd
But she makes me want to cry

Some Strange Girl that you don't know
Fans a fire in your heart
Am I to be forgotten?
Will we be ripped apart?

I'll admit it's odd to think
That one time long ago
I was just Some Strange Girl
That you didn't know

Was there someone else?
Vying for your attention
And was I just Some Strange Girl
That you didn't want to mention

I hope that you don't think of her
When you're holding me
I hope you and that Strange Girl
Just aren't meant to be.
