Some Nature Haiku

Green marble eyes stare
Black hill grows alert and arched
Ready to pounce – now!

Silver-white moon face
Watches entangled branches
And dreams of new day

Slug trail shines its line
Unique sidewalk creation
Magical moment

Stone thrown in pond
Mirrored circles expanding
Each of us matter

Seagull calls echo
Orchestra of salty winds
Waves bowing to greet

I sing of flowers
Bright colors laughing at time
Hugging the moment

Naked blue sky
Looks upon us and laughs
It sees so much more

Lacey shadows breath
Fluttering over liquid
Morning will come

Haunting sparrow’s song
Weaves clouds and earth together
A fleeting moment
