Some May Say and Many Will Say
Some may say mountains can't be move
Some may say roses shouldn't grow thorns
Some may say dried up rivers have no purpose
Some may say what is night without stars
Some may say what is a clock with no hands
Some may even say what is a tree without limbs
Many will say that you are a flower with no pedals
Many will say that you are blinds with no curtains
Many will say that you are a fish without any water
Many will say that you are just dust on top of ceiling fan blades
Many will say that you are a lamp with no light bulb
Many may even say that you are a pinto without wheels
Some may say beds without sheets serve no purpose
Some may say life is nothing without love
Some may say what is a piano without the keys
Some may say what is a house with no door
Some may say why strive to be deprive
Some may even say that you are no better than the rest
Some may say and many will say
That if you only knew me for me
Maybe you wouldn't speak ill of me
Some may say and many will say
Reach out your hands to me
Pull me close and set me free
Some may say and many will say
Don't take without giving
Share with me what keeps you living
Some may say and many will say
Please keep your opinions
and all your dry perceptions
Some may say and many will say
That yes my river may be empty
but it's still a path to a new beginning
Some may say and many will say
That the truth needs no proof
Either its so or it isn't
AND I SAY
I pity the fool who ever doubted me!
