Some Friend
Some Friend.
Oh dear I never have fun I work every day until everything's done.
I'm washing, cleaning and scrubbing the floor.
Then just as I finish my friend comes to the door.
Hello pet, my friend will say, as she steps inside to settle.
Two sugars in mine and a biscuit is fine
when your ready to put on the kettle.
I want to show you some photo's I took, oh and yes
I'm returning your book, the one you lent me last year.
But have you heard it's time I shared and really my dear make clear.
But I stopped her real quick, your making me sick with your gossip
and photo's to show your idle and lazy and driving me crazy I'd rather you get up and go.
I've been very busy as you can see and every time you do this to me.
You wait until all the hard work is done then you call for a visit
to be waited upon.
Well, no I'm sorry I was just going out, when I return I'll give you a shout.
Then I'll come to you for cake and tea,
then you my dear friend can wait upon me!
