Some Folks

Measure a man by his looks,
Others by his pocket book,
Some by the way he stands,
Of if his hand shake is firms, they boast,
"That's a man!"

Some folks say a man can look you
Right in the eye and if he can't
They say, "He's sly!"
Some say watch his stride, and
If his steps are long, in him,
Peace abides.

I say, measure a man by something you
Cannot see...
That inner quality!
