Some Days Are Ten
Some days are ten, some days are zero
Today's been a zero so far
My actions have been criticized all day
Can't measure up to the bar
Perhaps the bar is set way too high
For this guy who's nearing the end
The things are not all that important I feel
But seem so important to my friend
Forgive me again if I'm doing things wrong
But more important is happiness
It's shaken by some big misunderstandings
Silly and getting to be quite a mess
Time to step back and renew our loving vows
To accept love without reservation
Small things that get blown out of proportion
Must solve for our love's preservation
Some days are ten, some days are zero
So far today's been a zero
