Some Day

Some day I want to sing a song and turn sadness into glee. I want to spread the melody of a smile through a black and white key. I want to show some one stuck in darkness, that there is light; a dream. I have a dream. That my name will be known as this generation’s muse. That I will pay my dues and show that I will never lose. That I will use these words to bring a smile in a life full of denial. I Have A Dream: To see world peace within generation Y. To sing the greatest lullaby And wipe away the tears of those who cry. I Have A Dream: That we will love one another like we are related. That we give back to those who we have degraded. And remember the person who stated he had a dream. I dream to redeem the lives of those who have been hurt By what was found on the crime scene. I dream to gleam the light on the less fortunate boys and girls. What can I do to help this broken world? How can I spread my dream like Martin Luther King? Some day, maybe later, maybe soon. Some day, look up at the moon. Shoot through the stars. Follow your heart. Don't forget that you are my dream. Use your words, begin to sing. Don't leave behind your fellow beings. And don’t ever, ever forget that you have a dream.
