Some Company
Fireflies are natures lanterns
When I come through the banana pass
There are no paved roads here
And through the banana is just as good
For it is short, but some holes
Sudden before my feet, a fallen plant
Or the stone when I begin to climb
The hill that leads upward through dark
And takes me nearer to the sublime
End, I sought since first I had start
I cannot see the angel that holds me
When I would fall, but O my heart
Rejoice to see the soldiers lanterns
That means to me I have some company
Upon this lonely road going home.
