Remember meeting on a whim
first night stars in the dim
Loving me.. forgetting him
it was like lyrics from heaven

Those early days together
making me light as a feather
No way on earth to deny
how you made me so high
That every cloud knew my name

My girl, but not my everything
until losing you was
We'd become just becuz
then suddenly we turned to was
A drink that's lost the buzz

now we're anything but us
No need to discuss
cause it's quite obvious...

And this melancholy note
