Solitudes
Crowdy street at cloudy day
Smiling solitudes in motion
Can’t discern a word they say
It’s the roar of the ocean
Waves and splashes that repeat
Their eternal symphony
Mute the sounds of the street
Where I’m happening to be
Someone’s left a printed text
On the bench, in this wet weather
I can’t tell what’s coming next
Sheets are damp, they stuck together
Saddest clowns steal my time
Why that famous bell can’t toll
I would love to hear its chime
Just before I get too old
I won’t get asleep again
When its time to say my part
Never cared about the rain
All my words I know by heart
It can be another version
Just a bit supplied redaction
But I guarantee the ocean
And some solitudes in action.
