Solitary Company
No more am I alone
Under this great expanding, mysterious sky
Where once I felt smaller than
The floating wisp
Of a severed dandelion
Carrying its wishes upon a puff of air.
For today I have your words
Gracious in thought
And offered to me
To dispel loneliness
Through the joining of your piece of mind
That I hold within your note
And sing the praises of its melody
Which joins me mysteriously
In solitary company.
