Solidarity

Repeated noises and skewed desires. Unthinking words that bring wildfires

Centered in and bunkered down, yet few gaze up to look around.

The warmth of hope and sting of pain. Both work well on my campaign.

To bring in thought, stand tall without aid. Prepared to die, unflinching, unswayed.

What is life without struggle and reflection? Can we learn to listen and gain better direction?

But after all I’m just a kid and really what would I know. I’ll give this thought more time and room to watch it grow
