Solid As a Rock
This morning came and I arose to open my eyes ….
I left little to the imagination; because there you stood to my surprise …
Oh how can this be my love; how are you standing right here….?
I know we share this bond so I shall thank the Lord that he made you re-appear…
Right here in this moment we can now finally rejoice within one another…
It has been stated on numerous occasions of this love but we’re now friends that have a
chance to becoming lovers…
I can speak the language of your body as I follow the shape around each curve….
You are my sugar, my spice, my sauce; you’re even blend well with all the ingredients that
makes up my herbs…!!
Let another look upon you with lust and my soul shall inflate with rage…
It’s because of this yearning desire of love for you that I am lost and not knowing how to
function and behave…
But can you blame me for wanting to be so protective; to guard you and armor you with thy
shield…?
See these words for more than they are and come to understand that these feelings are
absolutely for real….!
There is no doubt in my mind that you complete me and that you’re the perfect one for me…
But my devotion to you is worth nothing if its only a matter or thought that I only see…
And before you pass judgment on me I’ll just plead with you for a minute of your time …
Allow me this opportunity to showcase to you all the joys, all the jubilance of thoughts that
appear whenever you’re on my mind….
Let me show you another side of me; a side that many folks do not get a chance to meet nor
do they know…
I’m a change man now and I’ll like to thank you for helping me and showing me the way that
I am supposed to grow…!
Metaphorically, there is a storm brewing and the battle lines are being drawn and eventually
we’ll have to choose a side to form…
So tell me, have I succeeded in the capturing of your heart or should I assume your
rebuttals are signs of me to be warn…?
It’s a merry-go-round, this thing call life that we dwell and live with in…
And so much time has already been wasted so we’ll never know the joy that could have
been…
But just like any merry-go-round that ride shall eventually come to a complete stop…
Just know that your life can be in disarray at times but real love can transfigure those
shambles into completing you to be solidified as strong as a rock ..!
