Soldiers Memoriam
The day wakens smiling
Showering all with warmth
Freely given as flowers
Fragrance, fire to flames
United in questing,
Answer of brothers
Survivors sacred sharing,
Uniting hands, hearts.
Blessings of the spirit
What can be, will be
Describe the sacrifice
Signifying a gift of life.
Inheritance of earth, water
Sharing bodies, being
With all brethren united,
For those who would be free.
Who those, God rest, are freed.
