Soldiers For the Lord
Christian men are what they were and everyone loved them so,one
by one as came their passing,we all knew where they would go.
They were so gentle,true and kind no better soldiers you would find.
living daily for the Lord ,what a legacy left behind.
I'm sure in thinking back to all the good times that we had,like the humor
they all acquired why, it made us all feel glad.
Heaven will surely be worth it all is what they all would say,and one
by one they made it home forever with Jesus to stay.
Yes,we miss them oh so much each and everyone,but they are up in that eternal
home now and their victory has been won.
Although we miss them we have the joy in knowing,that someday our time
will come and to heaven we'll be going.
We shall see them again up there on that heavenly shore,where we will
share the joys and spend eternity with all those precious Lykens boys.
