Solace

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: Solace
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan

Life,
is never
going to
be,

what
we want
it
to be.

It's a
struggle
to
survive -

But
that's life,

no day
is
ever
the same.....

one day
it's
sunny -

the next,
it's
rain -

So
when trouble
comes,

God,
hugs me
with a
gentle touch
of
solace -

I say:

Father,

I submit
to
your
compassion,

I need
your
caress -

You are
my
supreme
comforter,

of
faith, hope
and
love.

My
consoling,

spirit
of
serenity -

I pray for
a
thread
 of
hope,

to
succeed,
over
the dark

trials
of my
tribulation......

I pray that
you,

embrace
me
with your
Devine grace -

walk with
me
today,

tomorrow,
and
always -

Father,

Hug me
with
a gentle
touch
of
solace,

to
comfort
me
through
these times -

Amen
