Solace

A mild touch on my shoulder With a soft voice, enquiring Why I am standing at the entrance. As I look, the father said I marked that every time you come, You only stand at the entrance of the church, And never coming inside. I could see the smile in the eyes of the Father. He holds my hand and spoke My son, this is God’s house. Everyone is equal here. Do not hesitate, go near to HIM. Come inside and pray. HE is there to give solace. I looked at his kind eyes, said Father, whenever I come to the church, At the entrance itself As I look to HIM, HIS caring eyes give me assurance That only good thing will prevail. I realize, I have nothing to pray. God has given me what I need. Father puts his hand on my head and Whispered, my dear boy let God be with you. I left the church. ~x~x~

"Do not hesitate, go near to HIM." - He is everywhere, as this poem points out.
