Softly
Sometimes the heart just needs to feel
A warm touch starts to heal
Spoken softly, a loving word
A warm smile is loudly heard
Lonely kisses floating on by
A heart wishing to fly
Catching a tear before it falls free
Eyes open, what will it see
The sound of hope as it finds it's way
for once knowing what to say
Empty arms reaching for you
A warm hug when your blue
Soft thoughts floating high
Catching memories before you cry
Knowing love before you die
Waking with love at your side
Knowing that at least you tried
Looking for and finding a falling star.
Time really heals a scar
A warm hand in you time
Need
How your heart feels when it's finally freed
