Soft Voices Mothers of God
Listen to poem:
Soft Voices Mothers of God
David J Walker
Weave into your hair
The crown of Mary
Mothers of God
And share with your many
Children the songs sung in heaven
The lullabies of cradles
Replete at graves
With your favors
Where candles stay lit
Forever fanned by whisps of wend
Carrying your soft voices across
Stormy oceans calming the waves
Tell them again as they are dying
That Jesus saves
