Socks
SOCKS
I have a pair of blue socks,
I have a pair of brown,
Always wear brown socks,
Whenever I go to town.
One day I had a nasty shock,
It was such an awful bother,
A brown sock was on one foot,
And a blue one on the other.
As I am getting older,
It's really quite a pest,
Taking so much longer,
To look my very best.
Old age has come upon me,
I can no longer bend down,
So I shuffle along in slippers,
Whenever I go to town.
