Sock It To Me

Sock It To Me
The Great Dane was groaning and feeling quite ill
Trying to throw up against his own will
So of to the vet we took the poor dog
X-Rays soon showed that he had quite a clog
The vet said we’d better see just what it was
Cause that’s what a good veterinarian does
So they put the dog under and opened him up
Guess what they found in this poor little pup
Like a magician pulling scarves out of his sleeve
Came sock after sock – 43 I believe
It seems that this dog had an unhealthy habit
When he saw a sock he just had to grab it
And swallow it down before we were aware
And that’s why I could never find a whole pair
Now when I undress, nothing stays on the floor
And my socks are in pairs rolled up safe in my drawer
