in our society
people have anxiety
of other people’s views
we don’t want to be “the news”
we want to be ourselves
they want to be themselves
to scared of what others think
bring us to the brink
our sanity begins to crack
there is no turning back
to the way we were before
now is when we can’t ignore
the ones who try to help
come when we give a yelp
help us back on our feet
and we begin to beat
back our society
and we have more variety
within ourselves we are new
this was the right thing to do
all of this, to see
the truth of our society
